Document automation · Remote or on-site · For .NET teams

Document generation with TX Text Control

Invoices, quotes, contracts: as long as documents are copied together by hand from old files, it costs time and produces errors. In this training, I get your developers to the point where they generate documents automatically from their own software, from the Word template to the finished PDF via the Mail Merge API. Hands-on throughout, on working code.

Who it's for

Is this training right for your team?

It's aimed at .NET teams that want to generate documents and reports automatically from their own software. If you recognize yourselves here, it fits.

An end to copy-paste documents

Invoices, quotes, or contracts are still copied together by hand from old files at your place. We replace that with automated generation straight from your software.

Templates the business team maintains itself

Templates are created in Word or the TX designer, so non-developers can adjust them without anyone touching code.

Desktop or server, one concept

Whether WinForms, WPF, or server-side in ASP.NET: the Mail Merge API works on the same principle everywhere. We align it with your environment.

Content

This structure has proven itself across many trainings. Whether desktop (WinForms/WPF) or server-side (ASP.NET), and depending on your team's prior knowledge, we shift the emphasis; the core stays the same.

What sets me apart from other providers

Not an interchangeable trainer. You get me.

Document generation with TX Text Control is a niche topic. That’s exactly why it matters who you bring in for it.

Text Control MVP

The vendor itself recognizes me as an MVP and recommends me to its customers. It doesn’t get much closer to the source.

I use TX Text Control in real projects

Not just in the training room: I’ve built document generation with TX Text Control into client projects. I teach what I’ve built myself.

Microsoft MVP since 2013, 200+ trainings

Recognized by Microsoft for over a decade and proven in more than 200 trainings. Training is my craft, not a side gig.

I run every training myself

No junior subcontractor, no canned course. From the intro call to the last line of live coding: always me, matched to your TX environment.

Hands-on exercises with my support: your developers write the code, I’m right there to help where it gets tricky.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What prior knowledge does my team need? +

C# skills and experience with .NET. Which environment you run TX in (WinForms, WPF, or ASP.NET) doesn’t matter: the concepts are the same.

Do we need a TX Text Control license for the training? +

A development license makes sense for the exercises; a trial version is enough to get started. We’ll clarify what you need in the intro call.

Does the training cover both desktop and server? +

The core, templates and the Mail Merge API, is identical in both cases. We put the emphasis on your environment: desktop application or server-side generation in ASP.NET.

Is the training remote or on-site? +

Both. Remote or on-site in Bad Breisig, Germany.

Is this slide theory or real practice? +

Hands-on live coding on working code throughout. I adapt the program to your TX environment and your team’s prior knowledge in advance.
